All students applying for admission to Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School must complete the Admission Application and adhere to our Admissions Policy (see below). Please note that the District Admissions Policy is currently under revision to adhere to recent mandates set forth by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education.
Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School admits students from our 17 member communities to our career technical, animal science, and agricultural programs. Member communities include Beverly, Boxford, Danvers, Essex, Gloucester, Hamilton, Lynnfield, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Marblehead, Middleton, Nahant, Peabody, Rockport, Salem, Swampscott, Topsfield, and Wenham. Students from across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are also eligible to apply for admission to Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School’s animal science, agricultural, and natural resource programs. NOTE: “Non-resident” students applying for admission to the seven animal science, agricultural, and natural resource programs are NOT required to complete a Chapter 74 Non-Resident Tuition application in addition to their admission application (See: Specialized Agricultural and Natural Resources Programs Nonresident Student Enrollment Advisory, MA DESE below).
Open House – Saturday, November 20, 2021
At this time, we are planning to host our Annual Open House in person on Saturday, November 20, 2021. In an effort to implement precautions to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we will be limiting attendance to one parent, guardian, or caregiver per grade 8 prospective student; no additional family members may attend in person. Steps For Applying:
- Parent/Guardian and Student: Please complete an admissions application The electronic application for Fall 2022 admissions will be available after Wednesday, October 20, 2021. You may download a paper application below. Complete pages 1, 2, 3, and then sign page 4 of the application;
The student’s current School Counselor will forward application documents directly to Essex North Shore for processing:
- Grades for the current school year (through Trimester/Semester 1) and previous school year;
- Attendance records for the current school year (from September through January) and the previous school year;
- Suspension records for the current school year (from September through January) and the previous school year;
- School Counselor Recommendation Rating on the application.
NOTE: “Non-resident” students applying for admission to the seven animal science and agricultural programs are NOT required to complete a Chapter 74 Non-Resident Tuition application in addition to their application (See: Specialized Agricultural and Natural Resources Programs Nonresident Student Enrollment Advisory, MA DESE below).
