Application Process

All students applying for admission to Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School must complete the Admission Application and adhere to our Admissions Policy (see below). NOTE: “Non-resident” students applying for admission to the eight (8) animal science and agricultural programs are NOT required to complete a Chapter 74 Non-Resident Tuition application in addition to their admission application (See: Specialized Agricultural and Natural Resources Programs Nonresident Student Enrollment Advisory, MA DESE below).


Applications for the 2019-2020 School Year Are Now Being Accepted

Class of 2023 Application Deadline Has Passed, Late Applications Are Still Being Accepted

Class of 2021 and 2022 Applications Are Due On Monday, April 15, 2019

Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School admits students from our 17 member communities to our career technical, animal science, and agricultural programs. Member communities include Beverly, Boxford, Danvers, Essex, Gloucester, Hamilton, Lynnfield, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Marblehead, Middleton, Nahant, Peabody, Rockport, Salem, Swampscott, Topsfield, and Wenham.  Students from across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are also eligible to apply for admission to Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School’s animal science, agricultural, and natural resource programs (See: Specialized Agricultural and Natural Resources Programs Nonresident Student Enrollment Advisory, MA DESE below).

 

Important Admissions Dates:

Applications Due (Class of 2023/Grade 9) Friday, January 11, 2019
First Round of Acceptance Notifications for Class of 2023/Grade 9 Mailed April 15-20, 2019 (anticipated)
Transfer Applications Due (Class of 2022, 2021, 2020) April 15, 2019
Transfer Acceptance Notifications(Class of 2022, 2021, 2020)
Please note: In addition to Admission Policy standards,  acceptance to Grades 10-12 is limited to availability in CTE programs.
August 1, 2019 (anticipated)

 

Steps For Applying: 

  • Parent/Student: Please complete an admissions application The electronic application for Fall 2019 admissions will be available after October 15, 2018. You may download a paper application below. Complete pages 1, 2, 3, and then sign page 4 of this application;
  • Your child’s Guidance Counselor will forward application documents directly to Essex North Shore for processing:
    • Grades for the current school year (through Trimester/Semester 1) and previous school year;
    • Attendance records for the current school year (from September through January) and previous school year;
    • Discipline/Conduct records for the current school year (from September through January) and previous school year;
    • Guidance Recommendation Rating on the application.
