Good Evening Parents, Guardians, Caregivers, and Students:
It has been a very exciting Homecoming week at Essex Tech! This week students arrived dressed in pajamas, neon, and class colors to earn Spirit Points. We had a fantastic turnout to support our volleyball and soccer teams. Today was pep rally day! It was great to see our students celebrating and showing their school pride. This was definitely an event that we missed last year. We want to thank administrators, staff, and students who made Homecoming week and the Pep Rally happen. These events would not have been possible without all of your hard work and we appreciate you. Lastly, we would like to congratulate the Class of 2022! They have earned the most Spirit points, earned the most points in the rally competitions, and are the recipients of this year’s Essex Tech Hawk Cup.

Snow Day Update
The District will be having traditional snow days this school year as in previous years. Despite the state allowing remote learning days last year, they will not be permitting this to date. However, we do believe that having a snow day can be a great way to spend family time, help a neighbor, and enjoy an unexpected day off. Our school calendar takes into consideration five snow days. Anything more than that, will be made up accordingly.
