Good Afternoon Caregivers & Students:
We wish you all a restful holiday vacation. This time is a great opportunity for students to recharge by catching up on a good book, staying active by getting outdoors, and enjoying quality family time.
As a reminder, Governor Baker has tightened restrictions for travel. While we recognize that family gatherings will occur in some capacity, we hope that you will follow the travel advisories. This includes out-of-country travel as well. Please refer to the advisory HERE. There is new information related to the length of time to quarantine in the case of close contact, and this information can be found HERE. For anyone seeking up-to-date information about Essex Tech COVID cases, we will begin a Dashboard after the holidays.
Our staff have been working hard since March to ensure that protocols are in place, followed, updated, and working. Please keep in mind that the teachers are on vacation as well. We want them to enjoy this much-needed break during the holiday season. They may not respond immediately.
As we end 2020, we look forward to 2021 with your children and regaining some sense of normalcy as the vaccine enters into Phase Two. With that, we remain committed to creating a culture of academic and technical excellence through maximizing in-person education.
Happy New Year, and we will see you back on January 4th!
Sincerely,
Heidi T. Riccio, Ed.D., Superintendent-Director
Shannon B. Donnelly, M.A.T., Principal
Thomas J. O’Toole, Ed.D., Assistant

Our Horticulture program created these as a fun activity before the break! They may be selling them next year (stay tuned!).
