Good Evening Caregivers & Students:
It has been an exciting and very busy week at Essex Tech. We welcomed our students back to campus, collected over 1200 gifts for Hawk Holiday Hope, had a door decorating contest, an ugly sweater contest, picture retakes, a flu shot clinic, prepared for the Virtual Larkin Gala, and had a snow day. Wow!
The snow day was a great way to be tech-free, help a neighbor, have some fun, and relax! Thank you to all those that shared pictures. We think we just started a new tradition at Essex Tech!
Please note: We will have a 7:45 am start on Wednesday, December 23rd, and students will be dismissed at 11:02 am for the Holiday Break.

New Information
IMPORTANT Schedule Change
As a reminder, we have changed Tuesday, December 22nd, from a Day 10 to a Day 5. In addition, we are going to have Freshmen and Seniors in school and Sophomores and Juniors learning remotely. Therefore, the Freshmen and Seniors will be on campus for live classes on Monday, December 21st, and Tuesday, December 22nd. Sophomores and Juniors will be on campus on Wednesday, December 23rd.
Hawk Holiday Hope
In celebrating our fifth year of Hawk Holiday Hope, once again, our students and staff have amazed us with their generosity. As a community, we were able to collect over 1200 gifts for children in DCF care. This annual community service event will bring holiday joy to 145 children in need on the North Shore. It was exciting to see how happy the students were to deliver their presents for the kids.
We would like to extend a special thanks to the Essex North Shore PTO and the many parent volunteers who gave up time over the weekend to turn the school into a winter wonderland. It made the festivities this week even better when students returned to school after being remote and seeing all the twinkling lights, garland, and inflatables everywhere! Thank you for all you do for our students and staff. We appreciate you!
Updated Schedule
We have updated the school calendar to reflect the change to the schedule for December 22nd and the additional day in June to make up the snow day. The new calendar is available on our website at https://essexnorthshore.org/
