Student Drop Off and Pick Up
As a reminder, students should be dropped off and picked up in the back of the building by the gymnasium. We appreciate your patience as we manage our traffic patterns over the first few days. We have made a few adjustments to the bus drop off-plan, and we hope this will alleviate some of the traffic congestion in the mornings. We will continue to make adjustments as needed next week to make the process as smooth as possible.
Remote Attendance
Teachers will be taking attendance during remote learning. Students must be present during online classes as absences on remote days will count toward the total number of absences a student accrues. Students are allowed 10 unexcused absences per year (5 in each semester). If your child is ill and cannot attend in-person classes or remote classes, please call the absence line to report the absence. If a parent provides a note to document the absence it will be marked excused.
Virtual Learning Program
Our Virtual Learning Program starts Monday, September 21st for ENSATS students who have opted out of the Hybrid Model. VLP students will receive an email regarding Schoology and their Pre-courseware assignments by Monday morning. These students will participate in virtual coursework through Edgenuity and be guided by ENSATS teacher mentors. The contact person for the VLP is Janet Norris. She can be reached at [email protected]
Athletics Update
Athletics will begin on Monday, September 21st, I wanted to share the email Ms. Lalli sent earlier this week regarding tryouts, schedules, and protocols. If you have specific questions please email Ms. Lalli at [email protected].
COVID Protocols from the Health Office
We wanted to share additional guidance from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education regarding COVID Protocols.
Remote Day Lunch Pick Up
Our Food Service Department will provide lunch to your child if you want them to on the days that they are learning remotely. If you would like to sign your child up for Remote Day Lunch Pick Up, please email our Food Service Director, Grace Clarke, at [email protected]. Lunches will be prepared the day before and will be available for students to pick up in the main cafeteria before they leave school on their in-person day.
