All students applying for admission to Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School must complete the Admission Application and adhere to our Admissions Policy (see below). Please note that the District Admissions Policy is currently under revision to adhere to recent mandates set forth by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education. 

Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School admits students from our 17 member communities to our career technical, animal science, and agricultural programs. Member communities include Beverly, Boxford, Danvers, Essex, Gloucester, Hamilton, Lynnfield, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Marblehead, Middleton, Nahant, Peabody, Rockport, Salem, Swampscott, Topsfield, and Wenham. Students from across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are also eligible to apply for admission to Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School’s animal science, agricultural, and natural resource programs.

Please note: In addition to Admission Policy standards,  acceptance to Grades 10-11 is limited to availability in CTAE programs.

Steps For Applying

The student’s current School Counselor will forward application documents directly to Essex North Shore for processing:

  • Grades for the current school year (through Trimester/Semester 1) and previous school year;
  • Attendance records for the current school year (from September through January) and the previous school year;
  • Suspension or expulsion records for the current school year (from September through January) and the previous school year consistent with MGL c.71, § 37H,  MGL c.71, § 37H-1/2, or 10 or more days of suspensions consistent with MGL c.71, § 37H-3/4 .
