Message from ENSATS 10/21/2022

Good Afternoon Families,

It was a busy week on campus! With the 5K and Homecoming Dance on Saturday to our Lt. Governor’s visit on Tuesday and Senator Lovely’s visit on Thursday, our staff and students rocked the week!

Once again, we would like to thank all of the parents and caregivers and staff who helped to make Homecoming Weekend so successful. It was amazing to see the students having so much fun at all of our events, and none of this would have been possible without the help and dedication of so many adults. Thank you for always doing your best for our kids. We have many donations left and will be developing a plan so that we use them for our kids.

What is grit?

SkillsUSA
Our SkillsUSA Leaders presented to both the School Committee and the Program Advisory Committee over the last two weeks. We wanted to share the scrapbook they created.

Community Service Opportunities

We wanted to bring to your attention that there is a community service page on our website. The Community Service Page outlines the community service requirements for students in Grades 9 and 10 and provides information about many community service opportunities. Please note: community service is a graduation requirement for the Class of 2025 and the Class of 2026. Please email Mr. Emberley at semberley@essextech.net if you have any questions.

Happy Socktober

The Veterinary Science team is hosting Happy Socktober (www.HappySocktober.com) until Monday, October 31st. Happy Socktober aims to provide a new pair of socks to individuals who are experiencing homelessness. Please consider donating a pair of new socks (any style, color, or size) and dropping them in the collection box near the main office. You can also give the socks to any Veterinary Science student or Veterinary Science teacher. The socks will be donated in November to homeless shelters in Essex county to support the approximately 750 individuals in need.
