Message from ENSATS

Good Afternoon Caregivers and Students,

Oh what a week! We started with DECA states and ended with SkillsUSA

District competition and FFA state awards ceremony! In between, lots of learning and a set of triplets in the animal barn! Life is good. Now, for the fun stuff!!!! We begin our Grade 10 MCAS testing next week with the English Language Arts tests.

Grade 10 students will be taking the English Language Arts MCAS tests on Tuesday, March 22nd and Wednesday, March 23rd.  Please note that due to MCAS testing there are some schedule adjustments for next week:

  • All 5 days next week are Green Days with Grade 9 and 11 students in CTE and Grade 10 and 12 students in Academics.
  • School will begin at 7:45 am on Tuesday, March 22 and Wednesday, March 23rd for Grade 9 and 10 students only.
  • We will not have an 8:45 am start on Wednesday so that Grade 10 students can start the MCAS test as early as possible at 7:45 am.
  • Grade 11 and 12 students will arrive at school at 11:30 am on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Upon arrival, Grade 12 students will report to lunch and then D block and Grade 11 students will report to their CTE areas.

Early College Designation

We are excited to be awarded by the MA Board of Education and Commissioner Riley to be an Early College Designation. This will provide college courses for our students at no cost. This application has been two years in the making and it is difficult to get this at a vocational school because of the nature of our school.
