Natural Resource Management

Associated Teachers/Faculty

Mr. Paul Crofts and Ms. Martha Verrington

Career Program Description

Water to drink, food to eat and materials for shelter, the three essential things that keep us alive. The management of natural resources is essential to keeping our communities safe from need. Natural Resources Management uses project-based learning to develop student skills in observation, assessment, analysis and management of our most vital resources: water, soils, forests, and wildlife. Our fieldwork-based program immerses students into the full range of North Shore environments, including mountains, forests, lakes, rivers, and coasted shorelines.
