CTE Spotlight: Dental Assisting

Our Dental Assisting students have been busy spreading the news about good dental hygiene!  Our grade nine students visited the preschoolers at Peas in a Pod Daycare on the Essex Tech Campus and at the Sterling YMCA in Beverly.  The tenth and twelfth grade students headed to Pathways for Children Head Start Program in Gloucester.  At these sites the students use puppets to demonstrate oral hygiene, distributed toothbrushes, played dental hygiene computer games, and the Tooth Fairy read the preschoolers a story. Our students and the preschoolers had such fun learning and sharing.  During the month of March the students will visit Head Start locations in Beverly, Peabody, and Salem.
